The WLPCA Annual General Meeting is held annually in September. Community members are invited to engage in an update on community developments, hear from interesting, relevant speakers including local councilors and representatives from local committees, get an update about WLPCA’s financial situation and VOTE on the WLPCA Board of Directors for the upcoming year.
The WLPCA periodically convenes open community information sessions with guest speakers, related to political events (elections), relevant environmental issues and community developments. We communicate details on these events through our website, newsletter and emailbblasts.
The Pumpkin Parade has become a hallmark event for the community . Each October, the WLPCA organizes and hosts a well attended community event where children and adults together tour the beautiful Whiteoaks Park viewing a parade of spooky pumpkins. This event is growing each year and is not to be missed!
