The WLPCA Annual General Meeting is held annually in September. Community members are invited to engage in an update on community developments, hear from interesting, relevant speakers including local councilors and representatives from local committees, get an update about WLPCA’s financial situation and VOTE on the WLPCA Board of Directors for the upcoming year.
The 9th Annual Whiteoaks Lorne Park Community Association’s Pumpkin Parade happens Nov 1st! Bring your carved pumpkins to Whiteoaks Park (Birchwood Dr entrance) before 6:00 pm and place on the trail. Join us from 7-8 pm to enjoy hot chocolate as you stroll through the paths illuminated with the community’s creatively carved pumpkins. All pumpkins will be recycled by the Region of Peel. Donations to the Compass Food Bank are greatly appreciated.
The WLPCA periodically convenes open community information sessions with guest speakers, related to political events (elections), relevant environmental issues and community developments. We communicate details on these events through our website, newsletter and email blasts.
